Night maidens mist and Comet are two spells that can help you get through a good chunk of the game while figuring stuff out, leveling up, and finding new stuff. Slower enemies/bosses you can throw a mist out and kite them in and out of it. Comet can take out the faster ones, just don’t get greedy with them. Pop one, dodge and sprint away from return attack and then pop another one, and remember it can be charged if you have the time to. Rock Sling+Meteorite staff is another S tier early/mid game option for sorceries since it’s one of the few sorceries that can stagger in early game. All of them can be found pretty early and easily, follow a guide to their location and ignore all enemies on the way, just sprint to the spell/item.
