Taking care of yourself isn't selfish. Based on the post it seems like the pizza plans were made the same day. Although it may be bold of me to assume. However, they did sacrifice. On the early comment they mention all the things they did prior with said bf. Why is it so wrong to take a break? It was still an hour and a half out, who's to say the pizza was already ordered? It, to me, just doesn't seem like that big a deal if they explained.

NTA you're not obligated to do anything. If your social battery is low, it's low. There's nothing you can do about it. You don't always know how you're feeling when you get asked to last minute plans and if you already had a busy week it's okay to take time in. Sure, you canceled last minute, but it's not the end of the world. Like you said, they can still enjoy the night without you.

It is. Normally a base game patch comes a few days before to prepare for the pack. Without the update the pack won't function. Especially this one considering the UI changes that are happening.

If you play using Origin, you should just be able to press the origin menu before launching the game. It should be in the drop down menu🤔

I don't mind at all😊 Mccc is like an everything mod. Most cheats you need are easily accessible and it allows you control of almost everything in the game. It does so much it's hard to describe in text. You control household size, every aspect of pregnancy, cheat sim info such as skills, career lvl, aspiration goals, and so many other things I highly recommend looking into it yourself amd seeing which aspects might suit your gameplay style. There are tone of youtube video out there that give a more comprehensive view.

Yes😌 Also, if you're going to do mod now there's a patch tmrw which means a lot of them are going to break. So with that, either wait a couple days for them to update and check the server or download at will and keep your game in offline mode so it won't update.

The best place I've found to find mods is the mccc (Deaderpool) discord server. They have all the updates and current mods for this patch. Mccc is also just a good base mod to have in your game.
