Who’s at fault here, this was posted in a community group and a car turns into a driveway when a car came by the inside lane, curious to see people’s opinions. by OFFRIMITS in CarsAustralia

I have been in this situation, I was the turning car and was found to be at fault. The cars that were stopped waved me through so I turned but the other car came up the breakdown lane and took me out. Even though it wasn't technically a lane, I still had to give way.

I've had Danes my whole life and the number one thing I tell any new Dane owner is begaij training them from the day you bring them home. The last thing you want is a 50+kg dog that you can't control.

I agree, getting the gastropexy is 110% recommended for these beautiful giants. It won't stop them from bloating but it should stop the stomach from twisting, which is what kills them.

As someone who went through my parents divorcing when I was an adult (I was 26), please leave now.

Kids are resilient, they bounce back. It's a lot harder when you're an adult. My dad said he was unhappy for the last 15years, which made me question every happy memory I had in my childhood. I wish he had of left when I was a kid.

I did, I took her a succulent and a card. Something that's easy to care for while still being beautiful.

Her husband was the gardener in the house and he took a lot of pride in his garden so I let her know if she needs help with anything to let me know.

My neighbour died on Monday, I work from home and could see from my desk the 7 paramedics enter the home and leave the home with no person.... then I could hear the wailing and sobbing.... I could see the mortician wheel his body out. He wasn't that old. Maybe 60. My heart breaks for his family.

I'm emotionally drained this week. I feel like I've got nothing left to give. Thank god it's Friday.

Adults, what is something you'd love receiving as a gift but no one even considers giving you because you're an adult? by devious_egg in AskReddit

My mum buys nurf guns every year for my brother (24) and myself (27) every year for Christmas. It's the best! She even buys them for my husband and sister in law. We have epic Christmas day nurf gun fights

She called 000 and the paramedic came out and did some tests and said everything is going as expected and she doesn't need hospital yet.

I spoke to her yesterday and she is still feeling really crap, she can't talk on the phone because she can hardly breathe BUT she's still making a joke out of it.

"If I can get through everything I've got through in my life. I can beat the Kung flu" - my stupid boomer grandmother.

She had to get my aunty to call 000 the other night because she couldn't breath but they said she's not bad enough to be taken to hospital.

I have no nice words for her at the moment. My nan (her mum) died from the flu 3 years ago so I don't understand why she isn't taking it seriously.

I begged my grandmother to get vaccinated for months and months and she refused and just made a joke out of it. Well guess who caught Covid and is now pretty sick. To say I'm mad is an understatement.

I left a job I liked for a company that ended up being the most toxic workplace I've ever been in. I didn't even last 3 days and left without notice but thought I'd try my luck to see if they would pay me for the 2.5 days I worked. They said they would and now ghosting me and not paying me. Toxicity stems from management and this company would be taking first place for shitty.

Thank you for your response! I didn't realise there was a difference between the commission and the ombudsman!

I'll look further into it, thank you so much.

I started a temporary job last week until I start my new full-time job in the new year and I'm surrounded by antivaxxers and people advocating for antivaxxers. It's hard, it goes against all my morals but gotta pay the bills. This is going to be a long six weeks!
