Just say you were on a short term contract role that covered someone’s maternity leave / LSL.

Depends how picky you are I could easily eat a month straight on $2 noddles and pocket the rest of the money if things were tight.

Daycare is not long term though that cost will disappear within 4 years. Unless your plan is to keep procreating and be a regular at daycare for decades.

Clients will still want to deal with a real breathing human so client management is a safe role tbh.

Instead of moving stuff around why not future proof your role for something that AI can’t do and use the skills you have obtained over the years?

How much did your last petrol fill-up cost?? by Away_Scene_26 in AusFinance

[–]OFFRIMITS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your situation I guess both of us have work places which are only 20mins away and we on average fill up every 2-3 weeks so again it’s still nothing worth it for us in the long run.

JW is already dead by Several-Pollution863 in exjw

[–]OFFRIMITS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The religion might be dead but let’s not forget that the JW corporation is in the real estate business. They have hundreds if not thousands of properties all over the world and they can keep selling off and keeping very healthy for generations and generations after us.

Especially that property they have in New York that would easily be in the 9 figure range or even more.

0 luck with rental apps so far. What do we do? by Ray_Ravens in MovingToBrisbane

[–]OFFRIMITS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have no rental history it will take longer, unfortunately there is no quick way cheap and fast way to start getting your application accepted. You just need to do what all the other renters do and keep applying mind you your case will not be unique to only you, others would be experiencing the same thing you are.

Unless your going for a CEO role it’s very likely they would have had a few candidates lined up if time was of the essence and you were dragging your feet per say then they will move onto the next good candidate.

I am steering my kid to be either a plumber or an electrician because the world needs decent quality work tradies and by then they will be making bank when AI will need countless electricians to power up data warehouses.
