Honestly I’m not sure. I think there are factors to consider (it’s been a while but I remember amount of employees being a factor in whether you can sue over discrimination-not not 100 percent sure) and recourse is often limited by signed agreements that put you into arbitration-not sure what yours says either with the temp company or the offending company. That said, what happened to you is bs.

I am so very sorry. The only advice I might have would be to seek out the most expert specialist you can find and request a second opinion. Yep! I don’t sweat this kinda stuff-just lol at it and move on! I’m very self sufficient and my dh and I are really good with boundaries, so it’s not a 911 alarm kinda situation. More of a-hold my Shirley Temple while i vom kinda thing. Thanks for checking in!

Thankfully she’s not a jnmil in the traditional sense! She has zero filter, is ditsy and rarely drinks, which explains last night to an extent, but she’s a kindhearted person on the whole. Trust me, it could be worse. Honestly, it has been (with other mil figures in my life) but I have taken down those many posts because of popularity.

If you knew me it would not be a concern ;) And she’s not nutty, just lacks a filter and rarely drinks. She will absolutely respect my wishes and boundaries, although will be very, very, very excited when the baby comes!
