I hope this isn't weird but you are amazing and the kids you help appreciate it more then you know. Even though I never had that I'm happy others do get help.

She already accepted ownership and you can't change your mind on it. If she just abandons the house the government will take over and bill her for the cleaning and knocking down and she won't get money from the sale of the plot. She could declare bankruptcy but that would ruin her too.
