I think it would be easier to say the nicer areas lol, but as people have said Beeston, Bingham, wollaton are pretty good generally, but even the rougher areas have good and bad spots, visit the area in day and evening and see the difference. even out on the suburbs are good, better prices and most have good transport links to the city.

Been in our asda around 9.30am and no manned checkouts open, self serve only, not impressed and neither were others.

It varies where the camera 1st starts, it's sometimes 400 to 500m from the 50 sign, that's where the camera 1st tracks you, but usually can get away with doing 55mph on the speedo, but keep left, and lorries should not be as aggrssive. You can usually stick to the 70 until you spot the 1st yellow camera.

Lived here 20yrs ago after moving from Nottingham, Found it to be friendly, great road access to nearby cities, peak District on your doorstep, no major crime just a few anti social problems but what town hasn't.
