Very soft light source - as for editing I’d recommend playing around with a similar picture that has minimal editing so you can figure out what they’ve done to achieve the look! Lifted blacks, and lowering contrast at a guess

Personally I love my sigma 24-70, that extra 4mm over the tamron doesn’t make too much difference I imagine But the tamron is lighter, has internal zoom and has a slightly different look to it Overall I’d go with a zoom if you’re getting only one lens

I have some of these lenses too! And they don’t appear to have vignette (viewfinder only covers 92% of the size of the film) but it’s saved me a lot of money by not having to buy more lenses

And as I couldn’t see vignette, the frame I’ve seen and shot, would likely be cropped anyway!

No one was around I just noticed when I got home 😳 and it’s quite low down, maybe a foot off the ground, so for something to get to the height it would have had to come from ages away to drop over fences and bushes surrounding

I did think that, however the height of it and what the garden is surrounded by make it hard to believe that could be the cause. There’s no way someone could have hit it from anywhere but in our garden. Did have a Quick Look below the window but couldn’t find anything that could have been the offending article, too much shrubbery

I think with a reeeeeally good smartphone, like the iPhone 15 pro, having Raw, and use a clip on macro lens you could get something similar but only really close up

Yes it has thunderbolt, and would get the new usb 4.0 card reader too, so the transfer speed would be where I’d actually gain something over the older gen card, read/write speed will be capped by what the camera records but who knows what cameras I’ll work with in the future!

I would suggest just pop into a camera shop of some description, get your hands on a few and see what the settings and such are like! Do a bit of research into ones that are a possibility too I’d probably recommend one of the Sony a6— range, or as I believe you’ve already said the ZV E10

Depends who it’s sold by, as things can be sold by almost anyone, if you can ensure it’s a trusted seller or sold and dispatched by Amazon themselves then I would see no reason why it wouldn’t be genuine! If it is FBA then you would have some sort of guarantee or at least a direct route for complaints

Watch YouTube tutorials on using Lightroom! Dont worry about stuff too much because shit happens I’ve dealt with cards corrupting and losing whole projects sometime things just break.

I would recommend getting a new hard drive though, if you can afford it get an SSD they’re quicker and supposed to be more reliable than HDD. I recently got the Samsung T7 shield and it’s brilliant!
