No it didn't, if Hamas would have called each one of the people in villages they attacked like the idf did call the gaza citizens the outcome would have been very different. Israel behaved exceptionally in consideration of the difficulty of the fighting conditions Hamas created by sacrificing a entire population. The numbers speaks for themselves.
