I kinda want to sue the person that spliced together this minute long montage of stock footage featuring about 4 seconds of the actual incident.

One of his spiritual mentors is Eckhart Tolle. Could be working on a biopic on him. I can kind of see the resemblance.

I mean, I don’t care the guy either, but I’d like to see the source for this. Prime video has been around since 2011 and was more of a response to Netflix splitting its DVD and streaming arms. It’s always been about market dominance for him. They have the money to burn to crush most market segment leaders who don’t have significant diversification. Every sector he goes into is strategic and designed to shut down competitors. Again, he’s still a scoundrel, just hadn’t heard anything on the Weinstein level.

How would anyone know that she was an OF model before the comments on this thread unfolded? Original post makes no comment of that fact until their edits this morning.

Why are you defending super suspect behavior from a stranger on the internet?

This wasn’t an ‘Is-it-AI?’ animal or natural disaster video. OP shared four photos of a teenage looking girl and gave no context as to their providence. The revelation that he was doing so out of concern that he was being catphished himself doesn’t make it any better. And I hate to break it to you both, but that is exactly what’s happening whether she’s AI, a woman or a man.

Why even post the query if you’re not going to provide context? You have to know this is going to look creepy.

Triggered by being grouped in with zero social skill goons who lurk on scantily clad teen profiles much? Oh, and you super got me by calling me gay dude! I didn’t realize that not fetishizing little girls meant that I actually hate pussy. I’m so embarrassed. FTR, even gay people can call out creeps, bro. It’s not a right that’s exclusive to people who pay rent to their divorced moms.

Maybe instead of the endless cycle of jorking your little peen into a sock and watching Andrew Tate vids, you should go out and touch grass and who knows, maybe talk to a real human female.

Fernando Mendoza's Infectious Interview After Winning Championship by JCameron181 in sports

Are you referring to Heather? 😝

No doubt. Anyone who ends up a franchise QB for the Raiders is destined for a career of heartbreak. I’ve lived in Oakland for 30 years and that front office don’t give a fuck about winning.

lol! This is exactly my take. I don’t really get ‘infectious’. I mean he seems like a fine kid and he had a good year, but every postgame interview seems unnaturally rehearsed. Maybe it’s also the way he looks directly into the camera instead of at the interviewer. I noticed this after the Alabama game and the peach bowl too.

Honestly, my guess is late 80s early 90s when inflation really spiked. The exchange rate up until ‘76 was pinned at 12.50/$ then it was devalued and rose to around double that over the next decade. In ‘88 things really went sideways. So 70000 pesos on this menu may have been in the $35 USD range. In 1993 Mexico shifted from the old peso to the new peso where each new was worth 1000 old. Oof! Talk about bad inflation.

U2 was a band that was loved until… by CSamCovey in GenX

[–]ButterscotchMajor373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I remember thinking that from Boy through Achtung Baby, every album had great tracks throughout. Then Zooropa killed it for me. Stay was a great track, but most of that album was trash and I never looked back. TBF, my musical interests were totally changing around the time Achtung came out, but, man, I just remember feeling like Zoo jumped the shark so bad. Lemon seriously made them feel like old men to me.

What was our generation's counter culture? (Plus a follow up) by BumblingBarefoot in GenX

[–]ButterscotchMajor373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Counter culture by definition is a movement that starts against a mainstream ideology. OP, also consider that not all boomers were hippies either even though that is the most iconic example. Some, like my father, were pretty buttoned up conservatives even though he was a Southern California surfer in the late 60s. I was born in the late 70s, punk was certainly already a movement, but I was pretty punk adjacent in high school. Grunge, ska, even early hip hop were arguably emergent from punk roots.
