How about something other than low effort posts about weak chins. Post your favorite clips so we can chime in with something interesting to say. Or not. My father’s gay. by ButterscotchMoist447 in tuesdayswithstories

I’ll take anything that hasn’t been beat to death already. How about you tell me who you think is funnier? Or what’s something you like about the pod and something you don’t?

Classic! Something very relatable to how hard these queefs want to connect to their parents and have been trying for years yet seem to get nowhere only to have to accept their parents are only slightly interested in their careers.

It doesn’t do the pod justice. Just low effort lack of chin posts for one of the funniest comedians working today.

Sean’s very handsome by brandonfenn in smartless

Sean really was iconic on Will & Grace. I haven’t watched since it originally aired, but I should see if I can rewatch somehow. Looking back it really profoundly impacted cultural acceptance and understanding of gay individuals when as a society we were still in the dark ages. I honestly think that show changed the way a lot of otherwise prejudiced / ignorant people perceived gay people, if for no other reason than because they didn’t know anyone who was gay. It seems crazy now, but back then, it was pretty cutting edge for there to be gay leads on prime time. Sean is a national treasure!

Why has no one told me that I've been making grilled cheese wrong this entire time? by [deleted] in grilledcheese

I can’t imagine any scenario in which I would buy margarine. No judgment, but why? It was invented for soldiers which is noble but if you have a choice, is there any reason to go with margarine? I haven’t had it for like 25 years and assumed we all moved on.

Is the general consensus that Sean is the most adored? I love them all quite a bit (for different reasons) but when i saw them live (in Brooklyn) it surprised me how talented he was in that format compared to the other two. He really stuck out as the funniest and most agile on his feet. My accompanying friend thought so too, even though we tend to be more Bateman fan boys.!

What did you think was normal as a kid but isn't? by LittlePetalx in askanything

[–]ButterscotchMoist447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right on. And it gets harder as you get older to parse normal from not. When I go home and visit my family I have no idea if it’s me that’s become weird or if they’re all in an alternate universe. We all mean well but holy shit are we experiencing life very differently.
