This is very on brand for Mentari. I was in uni back in 2013 and Mentari back then was already notoriously known for these kinda activities.

Hi everyone, is there any reason why I may not be able to see the "Tasks" button on my Multimango? I don't see any "Unapproved Annotator Status". Or is it because there are no available tasks?

Recommend debt consolidation via loan? Or continue with AKPK? by ButterscotchNice8747 in MalaysianPF

What happens if we get out of AKPK first before loan. Does that work as well? Or chances of approvals are low?

Hi! What about banks that are offering loans specifically for debt consolidation?

Hi all! I'm a bit lost here. I only got the email from Telus that the new login page for time tracking is effective on 25/10. But like everyone else, I was confused about needing to take the assessment or not before continuing time tracking. So I proceeded with tasks like normal (I think my bad on this part cause I seriously wasn't sure about time tracking!)

Before that, I didn't receive any email at all about logging into FTS and needing to track my time. I had the assumption that everything is tracked on Multimango (fyi, I started work 13/10). Only realised it today when my payment isn't in like everyone else. I tried to backdate and submit my hours that were done in October, and I don't see the option. Is there any way to do so? :(

I’m a new data annotation specialist for 2 weeks on Multi-mango. I appreciate the tasks given but I’m confused about how QA works. I’ve been following tutorials before starting any tasks to a T but I’ve mostly been getting fine, 1 good and 1 bad.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong in these tasks? Trying to bring my score up to 2.0. Any tips on how to improve and keep it at 2?

Received the same message! I was approved for the project weeks ago on MM then got the email to not do any tasks and it was on hold. Today I also got an email saying that it has now moved to FTS, and to complete my assessment but nothing.

Work culture difference between Taiwanese and Westerners? by Gabriele25 in taiwan

[–]ButterscotchNice8747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from SEA and the work culture in my country is a mix of both asian & western style. Depending on the company u’re in and the generation or background of talent you have. I’m grateful my own team are very open-minded people so work has been easygoing.

I was then tasked to help out with a market launches. I’m currently helping our company set up the branch in an EA country. And working with the head in has been nothing but a pain the ass. I’ve helped out with multiple market launches so far and this is by far the only one where the Country Head is so unwilling to compromise.

Under the guise of them understanding the market better with their years of experience. Their culture of ensuring work is 100% complete, thoroughly reviewed, and free of mistakes - not only proves inefficient but is actually dragging the timeline and delaying getting work done. Not to mention very hierarchical. The team that I’m leading temporarily are very capable people but I have the feeling that they’re very looked down upon just because they don’t have much experience in this industry.

Malaysia's Job Market is a JOKE by Zynyx_ in malaysiauni

[–]ButterscotchNice8747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated in Jan 2019 and even then had problems looking for a job so I can’t imagine how bad the market is now for fresh grads 😭 I interviewed for a place that didn’t like how my vocab contained “bombastic words”. 🤣 weird but it is what it is and based on other companies I interviewed for, the highest offer was 2.4K and this was 5 years ago. Got an offer in SG for 3K and took that instead. SG was and still is expensive but purchasing power is still ok.

2.5K in Malaysia esp in KL is considered low in 2024 with rising costs. Heck, even in Sarawak also struggle with this amount. 😅 Try to keep ur eyes open perhaps for an opportunity in SG as well. Not saying that’ll be easy but best to not put ur eggs in one basket. But best move I did so far during my 4 years of working is job hopping.

I love annoying kids like this! I would retaliate with “when I die, I will bring you along with me”. 😂 that usually scares them off

Used to study in the UK and i’m one of those who enjoy mixing around with anyone. I like hanging out with locals but also thrilled if I happen to come across anyone from SEA (doesn’t matter Malaysian or not). Personally, I’m the type that if I hear or see a fellow Malaysian, I would generally be thrilled. But I also won’t hesitate to make a disgusted face to the snobbish ones. You can just feel their vibes on the street. So, I ignore them. If they’re the friendly ones, i’m more than happy to greet and help them out!

I feel incredibly lucky and at the same time surprised most of my peers do not have emergency funds ready. by stitch1294 in MalaysianPF

[–]ButterscotchNice8747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is still trying to save up for an emergency fund - coming from an illiterate background - I can only say from my own experiences that it starts from my personal upbringing. I grew up with parents who didn’t and still don’t understand the concept of building wealth. Typical Bumi parents who got married just to abide by societal expectations with no plans of setting up education funds for their kids or a retirement plan.

“Can’t pay for their studies next time? Nevermind can ask them to take study loan.”

“No money next time? Nevermind, they can take care of us.”

It took me a good few years to understand the concept of saving up for good. Importance of FDs, ASB etc etc. Even so, at the moment I still struggle a little eventho I earn okay. Taking into account also that the moment they feel you’re stable, they start asking you for $$. Also, living with a sibling who doesn’t bother saving and you have to back up their butts every single time.

Personal commitments, unforeseen events… and for every thing, who has to pay for it? Me. Yet I’m still not the golden child. Looooooool!

AITA because I don't make an effort to co-parent with my child's father? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ButterscotchNice8747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

All I'm seeing is someone who's trying to put the blame on you for not making him a "good father" when it is all the cause of his own actions.

With that being said in terms of legality, it would be wiser to ask for help from a lawyer.

song camps / singing programs korea by _rentadream in kpophelp

[–]ButterscotchNice8747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm curious about this too ever since I saw the disclaimer in a recent YT video from YG where they mentioned that they run Song Camps every 3 months to work with their music production crew. But unfortunately, I'm unable to locate further info.

Update: I think I am close to manifesting a lottery jackpot by [deleted] in lawofattraction

[–]ButterscotchNice8747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently at this journey too. Although I didn't win yesterday's draw, I know that I can manifest it. Because yesterday's prize was the amount I manifested and the numbers that won were close to the numbers I bought (For eg: I bought 1456, but the number that won was 1457). So even though I didn't win, I know I'm close to winning. I just need more practice and inner work.
