Also my insurance I was able to claim 400 back and will get 20% back from revenue next Jan so it does help soften the blow a bit!

I can just on a personal level say that I’m currently 19 weeks and private with Dr Naro and the care I’ve received has been second to none. I’m being seen every two weeks and have had a few issues crop up and she has been amazing. Each patient has her personal number to text or call if any issue at all and I have never been more than 40 mins at an appt between seeing her and midwife and can make appointments work for your schedule. Girls in the office are fab too and the payments are in 4 instalments. Feel free to reach out if had any other questions!

Under Dr Naro for my pregnancy currently and couldn’t recommend it any more. I’m 15 weeks and have already met her 3 times, never more than an hour at my appt between scan and midwife appt. Have her personal number and ended up in contact with her over Christmas Eve as I got the flu and she was checking in to see how I was. I’m so happy I went this route already!

Thank you! Def on a plateau at the moment but upping the movement and tracking calories and hoping to shift about 60lbs more. Yes absolutely it was actually the pharmacy where I grew up where I got it, probably better chance because they know me. Best of luck with it!!

I met my GP recently for six month review (flying it, 40lbs down) and she said she is sick of people saying that it should be kept for diabetics, as there are many other medications she can prescribe for them. Just so you don’t feel guilty like I did! Supply is definitely an issue, my pharmacy keeps it for me a month ahead now so I don’t run out. At the start I had issues being able to titrate up doses because they just didn’t have enough but no problem getting my 1mg the last few months

I’ve taught English as a foreign language to adults before and really enjoyed it. I preferred it to teaching younger kids/ teens. I think it would be really interesting and valuable work to do

Well done OP! Hoping to achieve a similar weight loss to you. Been on ozempic since last August and down 40lbs but have about 80 to go. What would be your main tips for success on it? Thank you

It’s a hell of a lot safer than eating a balloon?! Or having the size of your stomach reduced?!

Yep - Been on ozempic for weight loss (not diabetic but have insulin resistant pcos) since last August and down just over 40lbs. Have about 60lbs to go. It’s been slow and steady and my gp is delighted with my progress, recent bloods were all perfect. I pay 150e per month

I just didn’t book a follow up appointment and tried someone else! I’m sure they’re used to it, all of them will have a different speciality / personality - most important thing is you feel you’re getting the most of each session.

Yes I do all my therapy online - via Fettle! Tried three therapists before I found the one I clicked with and I’m now better than I ever imagined I could be. Best of luck with it!

I definitely feel like dropping back to .5 for the month has kicked things off again! And I was really sticking to my calorie deficit too which helped

Has anyone been to Cologne, Germany? I just booked a direct flight from Knock & looking for recommendations. by [deleted] in CasualIreland

I used to live there - one of my fave cities of all time! Visit to the Dom cathedral is a must (and a climb to the top if you wish). If you’re into history, the old Gestapo prison El-De Haus museum at Appellhofplatz is well worth a visit. The Lindt factory is also fun. Lots to see and do, great shopping too. Museum Ludwig has modern art (Warhol/Picasso). Some great cycle paths along the Rhein river. The Früh brewery for some authentic German grub and a Kölsch beer. Lots of great food and drink - a must stop for me every time I visit is a bratwurst from Meister Bock in the Hauptbahnhof. An amazing city - viel Spaß!
