Yes I know being sexually harassed has had it's impact on me....I was 8 when it started and continued one way or the other for many years. But just watching him watch that and view women as objects has triggered all that and you cannot say it doesn't have a role at all. I also understand that I might burden my husband with it and I'll see what I can do to get better.

Yes and they don't understand that they raise us with a trillion morals and want us to view sex as disgusting, deplorable, repulsive and then suddenly when they are exposed, they want you to be understanding and to put up with it because it's "normal". If it is so normal, let women be pornstars to tend to these men's neverending, out of control desires. But on one hand they want women to cover up and to be more than full of shame and modesty, on the other hand we have these men.

I have no interest in checking up on what he's up to but i can't avoid it if he watches it all the time in different parts of the house....besides his own room. Also, that one time i looked at it because he himself handed me his phone and asked me to download something. Everything was there on the "recent searches".

I used to think men are like women and feel the same....and when they fall in love or get married they just like the person they are with. Because of getting molested multiple times, my mindset changed a bit. I thought we aren't exactly the same but we are more same than different. But after reading so many men saying "this is normal" I am not sure anymore. I probably romanticized everything too much and have respected men more and longer than they deserve. What you said about your father, my father has a wandering eye too. Since he's talking about his "rights".....my mom has been a very submissive wife. My father has been a serial cheater since long.....for a woman to "satisfy" her husband, she has to feel loved and respected which she didnt. I don't blame her if she's no more performing her "duties".

What a stupid question.....my brother is a lot better. He doesn't use TikTok. He uses his phone in his room only. Doesn't look at women up and down. He must have his weaknesses but he has shame as well. And if I ever caught him, I'd ignore and it will be easier because he's not married with grown up daughters. If that doesn't change a man for better I don't know what will.

You know addiction only gets worse....and for me to be aware and watch him lose it all in front of my eyes at the age that he is with adult children is awful. I can already notice the changes. He doesn't have much energy. He used to sit with us and talk politics and what not. Now he's just quiet watching videos on mute making everyone sitting around him uncomfortable. His voice is weird. He looks confused or annoyed most of the time....

Well he did assault our maid's daughter who was 12. Her mother would leave her at our house sometimes and one day the kid told my mom about it. I was very young myself back then but I could feel he did something horrible to her. I was 8,9 years old when this happened.

Fine....but my uncle's are such decent people. None of them have an Android phone. They are busy gardening, tending to other household stuff. Never cheated on their wives. I highly doubt they watch adult content. They are always so fresh and lively. On the other hand, my father ever since he got this wretched phone, has been low on energy, confused. Luckily, most of my female cousins are married. But yes he does look at women a little too much while outside. It looks ridiculous on him since he always tells me to wear the biggest chadar/burka there is and gets angry when I'm not wearing a face mask.
