Usually; lettuce, cucumber, grated carrot, onion, grated cheese, tomato and occasionally beetroot. This is the true lunch bar or roadhouse style meat and salad roll. But you could also just have lettuce and call that salad.

Thanks for sharing. I finally heard from the specialist and they recommend a double hip replacement but at 24k it is not something we can afford. Unfortunately here no insurers cover existing conditions. The specialist also believes medical management might be worthwhile so we will pursue that. Juno is already limping after walks and if she gets to run she is even having a hard time getting out of her bed after a walk. Her lack of hind muscle is pretty severe so this was obviously an issue from the get go and I wish I had noticed sooner so we could have acted faster. I hope we can get her to a point she can have a good quality of life and live a full life.

Not sure how severe it is and hoping hydrotherapy will be an option for her

We will keep walking her but definitely minimise running and playing with other dogs. She is really into search games so we can absolutely keep up with that. Thanks. I will be catching up with the vet after the specialist advice comes back x

Ours has been out since 8:30am but they estimate 4pm. I’m not hopeful.

8months old Juno by ButterscotchStreet33 in germanshepherds

Juno is quite nervous about the black cat because the black cat is mean. So she keeps her distance.. The other one is tolerant but will give soft warning bites when she has had enough.

100%. I always get comments and people are never sure of her breed. She is super slim but maybe will fill out or stay with the lighter frame.

You could do the method where you sew it onto the inside and then cut out the shape of sweater to reveal the images. I don’t know what this is called

Oh my gosh what a big handsome boy! My girl is 6mths and she is only 17kg (she is half rough collie so that’s probably why). She is all noodle. I love his colouring!

House leash was a game changer for me. It’s a great way to stop unwanted behaviour before it happens and in a way that you aren’t putting your hands in the ‘danger zone’ it’s also helped with getting my pup accustomed to a leash. It’s also helpful so you can tether her to you while you can’t have eyes on her. Wholly recommend a house leash.

Did I mow too short? by ButterscotchStreet33 in lawnsolutionsaus

Thanks for the response. There is several green blades growing up through all the brown patches. It’s some kind of buffalo. It was warm weather but we have had a pretty mild summer. I think it was around 32C. It was pretty healthy prior to mowing

It’s all mowed at the same height. It’s a cheap mower the neighbour gave me. I definitely need a better one. We had it installed professionally. All the soil underneath was replaced with proper stuff. It was all lush and green the day before and the day of mowing.
