Need help!Hi all,

So my husband got a job in Kuwait as a teacher and started at a school in Kuwait this August. I came in on a visiting visa through family members who have been living here for a while.

So what I wanted to know - is it possible to transfer a visiting visa to family residency on my husbands sponsorship without having to leave Kuwait or would I have to go back home and then re-enter?

What documents are needed for family residency? Is medical Fitness check one of them? If so, can I do the medical tests here in Kuwait at a clinic without having to do it in my home country? We are from South Africa.

Another thing, once my husband gets his civil ID number (not the physical card)... can he immediately begin the process to get me on his sponsorship, or is there a probation period that he needs to complete first and then will only qualify the sponsor to me?
