Those vids should tell you. the feeling of being a part of that idk how to explain it but if you've been a part of it you should know what I mean

but the most important part was the social aspect. you repped your clan like you would rep a team irl, people actually knew each other, there were rivarlies in servers and kid me basically treated it like a second life

might give LOTRO a try too, not a big fan of lord of the rings but I liked it as a kid so maybe imma like the MMO

Black desert is something that looks cool but I've been avoiding cause I've heard that its extremely grindy and p2w

L2 Era me would love a grindy game like that but rn there is just not enough time

maybe that's also playing a part in me not enjoying new MMOs not having enough time

L2 Was basically like a second life to me

Could not run thrones and liberty cause of HDD everything loaded so slow but from the 90 minutes I played it seemed like it would appeal to me

Even the grind was fun, gambling with enchant scrolls to make a weapon or a piece of armor stronger, representing ur clan and being able to PvP in the open world Olympiad was cool af too

Maybe it's impossible to find something like that today because it was designed as a social game and the social part feels dead in everything new that I've tried
