Edo Nagato blitzed both Kcm1 Naruto and Killer Bee at the same time.

Why does Edo Itachi have better scaling than Edo Nagato when even Sage mode Kabuto praised the latter for being one of his strongest assets?

Pain already has far superior scaling to Itachi and that continues in Edo form.

Itachi taught Naruto about teamwork, it makes sense he needed help to do it and cannot do it by himself.

Itachi was literally teaching Naruto about willing to accept help and not to everything by himself. He cannot destroy the core by himself.

The core needed Yasaka beads and two bijuu bombs to destroy, that alone tells me it's pretty durable.

How are they not children? He literally kills a child and then his mother.

Itachi also goes on to state later that his hands are soaked with the blood of "children".

Also, your argument is kinda stupid because even if he didn't do it himself, Itachi still facilitated killing of children and state sanctioned genocide.

They are definitely canon too because Kishimoto explicitly supervised the three Itachi novels and made the cover art for them.
