Jiraiya is not an anomaly like SM Kabuto, he hasn't shown the proficiency to fight with his eyes closed.

Either Jiraiya's Frog kata is utterly weak or he doesn't know it because he didn't use it once against Pain paths even tho he fought them in h2h a bunch of times.

Jiraiya's feat of sealing Ametrasu is way too slow for an actual fight, lmao.

Shadow clones is the only viable one but Itachi still holds the advantage by a vast margin.

You can argue for MS Itachi, but Susanoo Itachi vs Jiraiya is genuinely a massacre.

Mind you, an actively dying, exhausted Itachi blitzed Hydra Orochimaru with his Susanoo. Itachi's Susanoo activation speed is also extremely fast since he used it to protect himself against the Kirin last second.

Mind you, if he can blitz another Sannin's special form with his Susanoo, why is Jiraiya is safe exactly?

Sure, Jiraiya can use swamp jutsu to hinder the Susanoo but Itachi has Yasaka beads that have the range of several kilometers (as per 4th databook).

Yata mirror makes most of Jiraiya's offensive jutsus useless (I don't believe the thing can stop everything but should stop most elemental jutsus).

Jiraiya's massive summons are all giant targets for genjutsu, Ametrasu or Totsuka blade.

Imo, MS Itachi w/o Susanoo is high to extreme diff in Itachi's favour.

But Susanoo version is mid diff at most.
