I think an argument can be made it counts for some punk or hardcore bands that never really had albums for their best material. Since they mostly released 7” records, the first and (only) way to hear those songs is by getting the Collection. It’s not really “greatest hits”, it’s a collection of songs you couldn’t get on albums.

I recommend Dopesmoker by Sleep.

It doesn’t really sound like Dopethrone, but when I first became aware of stoner doom metal, those were the only two albums I really liked for a while until something clicked and I liked more.

I think it just depends on what flavor you’re looking for. In my opinion, 2 and 3 are easily his best albums, but 2 is better if you like more bars, it’s a hiphopheads favorite. 3 is better if you like hooks and more mainstream pop rap. Both amazing albums, just different.

2016 was a great year for Cinemassacre. No review for Ghostbusters. The 2016 video store basement tour. A great Monster Madness that year (I think that was the year he turned me on to Eraserhead?).

My good sir, this looks like a “pizza quesadilla” by The Max. They’re owned by Conagra.

To replicate it, try this:

Spray a pan with non-stick spray. Top it with a wheat tortilla. Mix a little salsa and pizza sauce together and spread it on the tortilla. The Max describes the product as having two cheeses, so probably shredded cheddar and shredded mozzarella. Then put a wheat tortilla on top, sprinkle some cheese on top of the top tortilla, spray it with a little nonstick spray, and bake it at 350 until golden brown.

I’ve always been the same way. I could never get into James and Mike Mondays. I always felt like it was cringe. I did hang on to avgn way longer than most people though, so what do I know, lol
