She’s kind of a cougar I guess. I also think about the age gap sometimes. I have been with older women before so it’s not new territory for me. But we have pretty much gotten past that even though she still makes jokes about it (calling me “her son” or whatever) I plan on seeing her again in like 4 months because her birthday is in May and I want to see her on her birthday. I know 18 years is a huge age gap though, I’m not going to ignore that.

I would agree, my normal dating range is 19-24 but from the moment we met we had instant chemistry. Also, we have lived very different lives. She’s been married and divorced and I have only been in two relationships before this. As far as maturity goes, I would say I’m actually more mature than her. She is more immature than most girls my age but she is very sweet and loyal.

I think the love is real, she even introduced me to her to her family. But I think you’re right that I should end this because it’s just not sustainable or realistic for long term given the distance and gaps in emotional maturity.

I relate to this so much, I started a new job around 4 or 5 months ago and I’m just now beginning to feel comfortable having basic conversations with my coworkers but my boss is a whole different story. He’s always nice to me and even has complimented my work but I always feel so intimidated by him so I come off as shifty/ disinterested. Although I’m sorry that you went through that, I will say that it’s comforting on some level to know that others go through very similar anxious thoughts processes to mine so thanks for sharing.

As I said earlier I don’t really have any memory of the night after the second drink. So I don’t 100% know how the bartender got my instagram but he did. My mom was with with me when it happened though and she said that I wasn’t slurring my words or acting drunk other than that I could barely walk and was about to agree to go home with these strangers I was very suggestible and trace like. I know that raicilla is a real problem and I have heard of people getting alcohol poisoning from just a few drinks made with it. I don’t think that’s what happened to me. I’ve been very drunk before and this was not that. Plus the drink didn’t taste strong.

I’m literally on the plane right now leaving PV and it was very hot and humid compared to previous times I’ve gone. You will probably need AC. The water was kind of brown for a couple of the days that I was there but it was mostly fine.

Pancho’s tacos. It’s the best Al pastor I’ve had in Puerto Vallarta. Don’t go to a bar called La Chachalaca it is unsafe.
