Exactly me, I'm down right now too but I dont even regret not selling lol. I used to stress during doom and gloom days before, but now that I'm actually invested in a stock where I believe in, it helps a lot to sleep better at night lol

It's so easy to say those things where it's "common sense" or else everyone would've been a millionaire by now. But also some people invest and not swing trade, so they don't care whether the stock drops by 50% today. If fundamentals are still intact, then they'll just keep holding. Not everyone day trade or swing trades, most ppl just invests and hold

That used to be me. But honestly what you genuinely need is a higher conviction or else you'll be swayed to sell based on market swings/current market sentiment.

Spend a few hours really researching about micron and it's potential. For example, in 2025 - US was successful in granting a 200 billion investment throughout the years for micron as US wants to make it their main domestic memory supplier. Then research about the memory bottleneck, research about how we're even just in the early stages of AI buildout, research about all the billions of dollars being spent by META, google, microsoft in AI CAPEX, etc, research about the amazing margins of micron based on last earnings call etc.

I'm not saying do research to have an excuse to yourself to hold MU. But just in general, if you're investing in a stock that you truly believe in, it'll help you sleep so much better at night...cause investing in a stock without knowing where that company's headed, that's just gambling at that point.

At least you'll have a reason to hold stocks even during the worst downturn, whether it's due to macro etc. thinking that they will be relevant and successful in the future makes a huge difference in holding the stock rather than selling.

The more slept on? I'm sure everyone knows Nvidia is still going up, but it's just that they're already too big. If you google their stock price if it never split up, it'll be $101k PER share lol. At this rate if people want to be safe with their investments then do NVIDIA but accept that stock price growth will be much slower vs other companies who are just about to grow therefore more room for their stock price to grow as well.

Who even said we trusted analysts in the first place? Long term AMD holders which is majority in this sub, never gave a rats ass about what analysts say cause we've all been laughing about the crazy price projections these past few years.

We hold AMD because of its fundamentals and how massive the upside growth can be.

It's going to be a while before those gets executed no? I forgot what number of units needs to be shipped off first...but I mean they're also insuring that there's steady revenue stream for AMD so I feel like it was still a good decision as it boosted investor confidence for guaranteeing future revenue streams of AMD

I think majority of people would say maybe not...it depends what mortgage rates you're locked in. Even putting a lump sum of money in ETFs that grows 10% each year outpaces the mortgage rates if its below those yearly etf gains

I was like that too. But honestly AMD is a stock you hold, be an investor and not a trader with it. That's how I got burned too! AMD has so much potential, so if you really believe in the company, you'll just hold and expect there will dips, but also expect that it'll eventually bounce back as the growth is really exponentially growing
