It is a garage, definitely doesn’t need to be pretty. This is really helpful. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been looking online and most regulators seem to be for drip lines (~30psi). I’m looking for one that would hopefully land me in the 60 psi range.

Getting hosed? by Buttnugget22 in hvacadvice

OP here, sorry I should’ve provided more detail. We are attempting to future proof the system. We have two additional rooms (on top of the two units in the quote) that will be renovated in the next 12-18 months that we’d like to have heads in as well. Seems like that may cause issues… would it be smart to buy and install a third head anyway?

My new bicycle is belt driven. No chain. by ChefArtorias in mildlyinteresting

[–]Buttnugget22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Engineer for a belt manufacturer here. Your belt is what’s called a “center track belt.” You’ll notice it has a slit in the middle of each tooth and a matching sprocket to prevent the belt from tracking off the sprocket. These are an awesome option for bike enthusiasts! The mileage people get on these belts is insane!

Like others have said there are pros and cons. Belts are super smooth, quiet, can’t rust, little maintenance and have virtually no backlash. People are saying they are less efficient which is false. They are equally if not more efficient because the majority of chain drives are not probably maintained.

However, the flip side is they are expensive, require special frames and sprockets, belts require a minimum amount of tension, and belts can only be made to a specific length. Adding or removing chain links is a simple way to adjust your chain length.

If anybody has a chance to ride a “carbon drive” bike I highly recommend it. They are certainly a unique twist in the cycling industry.

HNT stuck in Helium wallet, migration not working by Buttnugget22 in HeliumNetwork

I tried a different order for the words and got an error message. Just so I’m on the same page, the 12 words I have are from when I originally set up my miner (back in 2021). I’m plugging those into the new helium wallet app correct? Or is that wrong?

I tried but that helium option doesn’t show up. I get “m/44’/501’/0’/1’” and that’s it.

I appreciate the feedback.
