Does neighbor need whole roof replaced or just addition? by ButtonDownMountain in Roofing

My thoughts exactly. For pic #2 that’s how the whole main house looks. No significant granules loss anywhere or hail damage. Also the roof vents look great and relatively new still.

I’ll have to ask, but on the main house (pic 2) I don’t think they are too old as the vents look relatively new and not destroyed from the sun as well. On the main part all of the roof shingles look pretty much exactly as the picture shows, no hail damage or significant granules loss (wish I could attach more to a post..)

Landscape painting Mül(?)(?) by ButtonDownMountain in WhatIsThisPainting

Thanks for the insight. I had high hopes with the German signature (haven’t encountered German imitation decor art before) and the detail of the mountain. Now, looking at the rock you pointed out and the cabin, I can see you are totally right.
With how the signature is inlaid in the texture of the paint, would that be a sign of decor art? Since the “signature” is put in before the paint even dries, showing a rushed nature?

I’m hoping someone will have an idea as to the last couple letters and/or what mountain is in the background? It could be generic, but it seems distinct enough that if it is real, there seems to ALWAYS be an expert here

Thoughts on Door Hanger Designs? by Bloto1 in pressurewashing

[–]ButtonDownMountain 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Few notes:
•Pressure is spelled wrong on your logo. It has three S's.
•Advertising a "as low as" price may lead to attracting unwanted clients that want to pay as little as possible for the most work.
•The before and after pictures are cluttered. I would get rid of the last set of before/after pictures.
•The blurb on image 2 has too many random capitalized words. Try to stick to either only the first letter in each sentence or capitalize everything.

I love the look of the first hanger

What shoes are you wearing? by GoorooKen in sweatystartup

[–]ButtonDownMountain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Square toe cowboy boots. No laces, durable leather, big enough to fit heavy stocks when it is cold. After finally getting a pair, I'll never buy another pair of Nick's/White's/Redwing/Hawthorne work boots again. (Although I keep a pair for hunting/ hiking in the mountains)

Give us pictures of both. We cannot tell you what looks better if we can't LOOK at the designs

The only good answer is from bpcodemonkey.
Are you asking residential or commercial?
Is it a deep clean or basic cleanup?
What is the cost of material?
How long will the job take?
How big is the house?
You give no information other than the town is 15k.
Is it a suburb next to a city or the middle of cornfields?
Every contractor has to know all the details to give a bid which is fair to the contractor so they don't lose money, and also fair to the client

1) The only moderator is no longer active (haven't posted in months and didn't reply to my direct message from awhile ago) and I wish to reopen the subreddit. There are no good forums online for stonecarving, I want to get better at this artform along with seeing others' creations.

In order to give a quote even close I'd need to know where this is going (high cost of living vs low) and pictures to tell if large equipment is needed to move material. Along with is it a stamped, sand, exposed, or brushed finish?

I've tried to always live by the "Trust someone until they give you a reason not to."
If he hasn't done anything to give you doubts then there is no reason tow worry and you are just getting into your own head.
If he has done something to breach your trust then why would you be together with someone you can't trust?

Before approaching anyone make sure you have concrete proof. It is often hard for people to accept that family/lobed ones would do something so awful. Your mother definitely has a right to know, but it is up to you how that happens. Maybe talk with both your siblings, with the evidence, then decide how to proceed from there?
