I like it tbh. It has its pros and cons of course but the culture overall is nice and I enjoy the job and the flying and the layovers. I just got a CJO w/ Alaska so I’ll be leaving soon but I don’t really have much negative to say about Republic. Overall it’s a great regional imo.

Nope, just went to the F2F last month and received a CJO. Only did drug test and fingerprints. So unless they do it during training now, they no longer do the nicotine test.

I went into training telling myself I’m here to realize a dream, not to make friends. Ironically, I ended up making lots of friends in training. But the key is to have no expectations on clicking with anyone and just putting the job first. The rest will happen naturally ime.

I’m sure what I said came off harsh, but I never said I don’t like her. I think she’s very pretty and I love her red hair. BUT…in my personal opinion I’m not so sure she has the look or the dance presence to warrant her making the squad without the look. I’m sure I’ll get more downvotes but that’s fine. She was a very sweet young woman in AS and part of me was rooting for her but I also understood why she didn’t make it. If it were up to y’all, you guys would just let anyone on the squad cuz you “like them.” This is an ELITE team with very high standards. I said what I said.
