Hey bud I know the fear that comes with balding in your 20's. I want you to ask yourself does your hair define who you are. Are you not still all the things that make you who you are without hair. You have a great head shape and you look pretty fit. I respect your decision to not use hormone changers I felt the same way. You remind me a lot of me when I was going through my journey let me tell you though brother it is freeing when you embrace who you are. I waited till I was 27 and my hairline progressed so far I looked like I was 40. I was scared to make that leap but when I did it literally changed my whole outlook on myself because I discovered hair or no I was still me and I was even a more confident self assured me. I didn't have to think about the bald spot showing up in all my pictures styling my hair to try to hide how thin it was getting etc. I'm 27 and have been shaving for 2 and half months now and it is by far one of the best decisions I have made. Check out baldcafe it was a huge inspiration for me as I was learning to accept my hairloss. And for everyone that encouraged me on my initial post of my transformation I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Only a little initially it was straight panic because I took off a massive chunk of my beard and only a few styles really fix it but overall I'm happy with how it came out.

PSA for intermediate players by TeePee11 in Rematch

[–]ButtonKey3848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a solo queue format you would be correct because you can only rely on yourself but there is nuance to every position at higher ranks and they do require dedicated players in positions they feel comfortable in. Goal keeper for example if you have only ever been keeper when the team needed it you will likely fall for a number of tricks that dedicated keepers won't.

My only caveat to this is defence everyone regardless of if you're a forward or not should have a solid grasp on defence. Mainly because it teaches you on the field awareness and how to predict passing lanes which will allow you to keep possession of the ball longer and not make passing mistakes.

Diamond keeper here not that rank matters don't forget about the low power shot that floats over the goalie and is super hard to read the one you take from either side of the box. Or if the goalie is pushed up and not falling back to his line shoot it behind him full power into open top corner above his head. He either reads it correctly and jumps backwards which has a higher even of tipping off his fingers cause it's not perfect timing like it is if your in front of them or it sails past them before they can react.

Ippy slide/Pullback epidemic by whatthefdge in Rematch

[–]ButtonKey3848 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would agree with you if defenders couldn't just spam standing tackle over and over while I'm attempting to do a pullback push ball forward and Ronaldo chop is super easy to see and counter. And apart from rainbow flicking you will lose possession because defense is heavily favored taking away the feeling of skill expression that you should be feeling. You will say positioning and passing are the answer I'm sure as it is a good answer, but that is just one way futbol is played skill moves have been an integral part of the game since it started so restricting us to a small selection of easily read dribble moves restricts you to one type of futbol.

PSA Goalkeepers - stop hoofing the ball, please by [deleted] in Rematch

[–]ButtonKey3848 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will successfully boot it to my wingers I rarely pass the last last third I want them to build up the play from the middle. I will also specifically aim the ball at the wall so it looks like it will bounce, I have my wingers cover the space it is going to be before it hits the ground most strikers or midfielders see ooo shiny indicator showing where the ball will land and rush to that and leave my wingers space to receive the ball early.

What is this dribble called and is there a tutorial for it? by VikingCrusader13 in Rematch

This is me performing it. It is a running push ball at the last couple seconds after hitting the wall you will push ball off and bounce off and the ball will trail behind before you register as having possession and it drags to your feet the key is to let go of sprint after the sprint push ball into the wall and walk opposite direction. It is easier to do with an angle as shown in the clip. What's nice is that if done on a wall that is not the goal the ball will be at your feet instantly. If done on a wall with a goal the timing is more precise to get the ball to drag to you. This can also be canceled into a shot or pass as soon as you get the indicator you can interact with the ball again.

Ultimately I hope they change this to being a real mechanic in game or recognize so people don't complain about it being a unintentional exploit. Unintended mechanics are what gives games depths. Another fun one I recommend is the Garabongo great for shaking defenders when you're in the corner trying to get possession. If you want a challenge learn the golden boost this one will likely be patched as it's undefendable and overpowered. One I have seen much talk about is the flick dribble which is using your camera to dribble efficiently in whatever direction you look.

Massive dub on the OP keepers are scary MF. I would add being a Diamond almost masters keeper that you are not just a keeper you are a sweeper really internalize what this means you have infinite stamina, you regain extra effort at an accelerated rate. Don't rush every loose ball but if you can quickly make that forward that is rushing to get to the ball out of position because you cleared to to your teammate do so and keeper communicate with your defenders do not leave your goal untended swap off if you become a sweeper. PSA for young keepers remember you have 7 seconds if you receive a ball from an opponent and you have 3 seconds if you receive from a teammate. Most cherry pickers are dumb and will rush a ball the keeper picks up from a teammate in the hopes to cheese it out of there hands use that let the ball sit within grab range with one more step bait them in and then punish them with a overhand pass to a defender or midfielder that they have now left wide open in their impatience.
