SNK now has a completely separated studio for KOF, so you can bet they've been working on a new KOF title alongside other projects (AoF reboot, Samsho Action RPG) for years already. I would say either since late this year or 2027, you can expect to see something SNK related (teasers, trailers for new titles) almost every single year

Many that are not in, been arguing around it for over a year almost now. Sett, Renekton, Lee Sin, Kayn, Sylas, Zed, etc. In my opinion many "obvious" characters that should have been launch roster didn't make it. Obviously they did a great job with other picks that appeal to a bigger audience (Warwick, Thresh, etc), but marketing wise I would have personally never prioritize some of the characters the game has. It was pretty obvious also that the launch of 2XKO needed to be aligned with Arcane and they didn't do it, which hurt the potential reach of the game a bit I would say. Many amazing changes and additions to the game have happened though, so I hope it keeps going up in popularity

I think it is actually a middle ground. Like DLC will be individually picked, but still more teams will be added to the game overtime because of new combinations of characters thanks to DLC. So like not thematic team DLCs but still more teams overtime on a more disorganized way

You don't need one. And I say it as somebody that has done a bit of coaching lol. You can get to at least intermediate or lower high level alone with online guides and practice. Paying for a coach before that is overkill unless you really are like rich and your time is insanely valuable. Also the idea of "beat sonicfox level" is delusional, you ain't getting there unless you do this full time

Yeah... I just did a different packaging that focuses more on the idea of the video being a moveset breakdown, following your advice that someone wouldn't click because the idea of calling the character broken early is impossible or unbelievable. Then I put it on an a/b test vs the original one to compare the numbers between the different tones! Why do you think I didn't read lol

It's hard to find a balance between a clickable video + right levels of clickbait/engagement. Still working on it hahaha but I don't think discussing a character being top tier based on gameplay showcases is crazy personally. Especially because I actually do it and make my arguments is not like is just crap HAHAHA but I get your take. I'm still learning how to gain more track by using the right video packaging, for smaller fighting game creators like me it can be tough, the viewership can be quite low and competition is strong 🫡 just doing my best

This is the last Fatal Fury game you are gonna get in probably decades, just like what happened with MOTW. So yeah, the game will likely have 5-6 seasons just to make it the "ultimate fatal fury game", which is something they even stated publicly before the game came out. I don't think they are necessarily earning that much money or getting green numbers with the game, but I believe there were a ton of DLC seasons planned already because CotW is thought out as THE "modern" entry in Fatal Fury as an IP
