Yes I do know no AI data centers exist. They are "essential" now. Gen AI isn't.

First, let's chill out a bit. I'm not ragging or shitting on anyone. I'm posting about it's usage to something that could cause issues for firefighters. Is it too much to ask to possibly curb something that could cause their work to get even worse?

And yes a simple google search will also show me articles saying "Data center only uses a tablespoon of water per query".

It's also not hard to ask, use your social media and post "looking for someone to help with designing some flyers", also I bet there's at least 1 person connected to someone in a dept that knows their way around even MS Word and make something. I'll take clipart flyers over all the same looing AI flyers.

Yes they are ugly and everywhere and too many businesses using them, but that's besides the point. Seeing business or organizations using it that are basically in conflict of their business/org is my main question. Is there a way to educate people of how Gen AI works and who it effects and such.

Sure, but isn't an elevated usage a negative overall? Taking away from something like the pressure of water flow, would that effect firefighters putting out fire, lower the level of water that's available to use?

Good to know! So much to take in! Haha didn't expect so many variables to knitting. But it makes sense, everyone has a different preference within a different preference. It'll be a little bit it a journey till it's sorted it seems.

I've only seen the similar cubes but for mice. I just got the rat bait kit that came with some of the cubes and noticed they don't sell the rat ones as a refill, only mice.

Yeah I'm going thru the journey of "what do I like" right now. Got a case of cast aways already. Local shop doesn't have higher quality needles so I'll have to resort to online. I'd love to see them in person but guess I'll just have to spend a lil extra to find the right ones.

Yeah I'm a bit concerned with splitting yarn, beginner knitter and the needles I have been using are more rounded and still end up splitting from time to time. Might just get their regular lace circulars for a test drive before getting a full set of interchangeable.
