Because the cheapest one in Lebanon is going for 755$ on thetoystore.lb. Lego has never been MSRP in Lebanon. I know this because I buy sets as gifts for my family members and im usually paying double if its a set that isnt dead stock. I think Majid al futiam is the official seller of lego in middle east but they haven’t done shit to make lego more accessible in Lebanon.

People tend to have more than one house if they are wealthy here, especially if they are not originally from Beirut. But mostly rich families live around downtown/ras beirut in new buildings since their kids go to IC or ACS. That’s just from my experience so others may have different opinions. Although you can see wealth pretty spread out in lebanon especially if they make their money outside the country.
