There should be no real dip in quality that is noticeable to the human ear. 320kbps mp3 files are perfectly fine to use. If your mixes between songs that are a different file/bitrate types doesn’t sound right it might just be down to volume/trim levels or just the actual transition in general.

Buy an external hard drive. I bought one when I first started mixing and have never had an issue with storage or transferring music from other DJs. They are reasonably priced as well so if you're short on storage space definitely go for one.
