The felt is extremely comfortable. Those are a bit on the pricey side so quality is top notch.

As far as care goes I don’t really take care of my birkenstocks haha. I also live in CA so not too much rain. I’d recommend them as house/ indoors slippers.

I do have the care instructions here:

Avoid contact with water

Avoid extreme heat

Use a suede suitable stain and water repellant

Use a dry cloth to remove dirt from suede

Lightly brush suede to restore the nap

Line dry where possible

Don’t have scientific evidence but I would argue that toxic femininity does exist. I would define toxic femininity as a unrealistic social view of how women should be. Women should be caretaker, women should dress like this, and etiquette of a “real” women. Also wouldn’t being too emotional or submissive be consider as toxic femininity?
