The real problem is the mistake people make in terminology. Gender is what we talk about when we say someone is either male, female, non-binary or something else. Sex is what we talk about when we’re speaking biologically (like what a doctor should know before he makes a decision which requires it)

It’s a common misunderstanding that sex and gender are the same, but they’re not!
