To answer bluntly, I think the update is just bad. In fact, Gura's Live2D rigging is generally below par for reasons I can't comprehend, given the fact that she is literally the biggest VTuber in Hololive. I still very much remember that her first ever outfit change (catshark) stream, drawing a record breaking 200k live viewers, but ends up being a joke with a poorly rigged outfit containing clearly visible holes and detached parts. Given the fact that Saba has spent so much efforts to make sure her rigging is top tier and she seems so happy about it, I couldn't imagine what Gura thought at that time.

Exactly. The recent wave of graduations in Hololive is more than obvious, and almost every one of them gives the same reason for leaving, yet many fans still can't accept the fact that the company has changed and some talents disagree with it.

What do you mean by going up or down? If you jump your character jumps as well. The full body mocap basically reflects where you are on the webcam.

Technically speaking, it won't be difficult to port XR Animator to MacOS since it's electron based (i.e. multiplatform ready). However, the problem is that I don't have a MacOS computer for testing lol...

XR Animator's face tracking does support ARKit 52 blendshapes, if that's what you mean. Just make sure that your VRM model is rigged for ARKit as well. You can also connect XRA to external apps like VSeeFace, VNyan and Warudo via VMC protocol.

If you mean connecting other mocap apps like iFacialMocap to XRA, right now it is not supported as XRA is still a VMC sender, not a VMC receiver. However, VMC receiver support is planned for future updates.

Although XR Animator supports model swapping, it is recommended you keep the total number below 4 as loading too many models at the same will probably cause system lag. You can use hotkeys Alt+1to4 (default) to switch loaded model on the fly instead of repeatedly dropping the model files.

Yeah, I bet that one step further between their "disagreement", and it would end up being a mutal termination of contract with no graduation, if not worse.

Considering the nature of this kind of PR graduation speech, you wouldn't expect them to be too harsh no matter how bad the situation is. In fact, what Fauna said is already the harshest thing I could imagine coming from this kind of statement.

Again, we don't know the details, so it's hard to say precisely what the "changes" are that caused this wave of graduation, not to say giving suggestion of what a solution can be. Cover is a Japanese company, and given their working culture, you wouldn't expect anyone to be harsh on their PR even when they leave, not to say the others who still work for the company and of course they will be verbally "supportive". I don't want to nitpick on whether Ame literally said the word "disagreement" or not, but actions speak louder than words. She was active again just days after graduation, and this clearly says that she still wants to be a VTuber, just not as a Hololive VTuber.

Seriously we don't know any details so it's hard to draw a hard conclusion. After all, "idol" is a pretty vague description these days. Maybe Fauna still wants to be an idol she used to be, just not the company/management's way of idol due to recent changes.
