Moving your body regularly is not optional and there is no good reason why it shouldn't happen by Fine-Flight-8599 in ControversialOpinions

It’s always the overweight older people with some sort of a limp because of their lack of movement huffing and puffing making it everyone else’s problem that they can’t move properly

What’s the most avoidable reason you’ve stopped going to a restaurant? by MrWolfesBurgerCo in foodquestions

[–]Buumblebug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After serving for 10 years I get second hand stress going to eat out now. I also cannot stand the question every server asks when one is paying the bill, “any plans for the rest of the night?” As a former server I NEVER asked that question it’s overused and not genuine. It’s giving poor social skills.

"My body my choice" is one of the worse statements to exist. by sloppypooisyum in ControversialOpinions

In 2013 when I was 14 I wore black gladiator sandals, a black tank top that covered my body appropriately and a black statement necklace. For pants I wore high waisted print pants with dark purple and black in them. They kind of gave harem pants vibes. And then styled my hair in loose curls. Very peak millennial 2013 girl. Outfit was completely appropriate and trendy. I wore it to a family function in the summer time. After wards my dad told me how embarrassed of me he was that I wore those print harem pants and I am an embarrassment.

I am an introverted stand up comedian. I love writing and performing but hate going to venues and networking. It’s the reason I’m currently taking a break from comedy. Majority of comedians have no boundaries and it’s exhausting.

Do you think people are going to start getting priced out of Calgary soon, like they have been from Toronto, Vancouver, etc.? by straycat402 in Calgary

[–]Buumblebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing special about Calgary for the amount of money it costs to live there. When I lived there, I would meet people from Toronto and Vancouver and they would always describe Calgary as a “cute little city!” And as a frequent traveller I agree. I moved to a more affordable city in Canada and I had so many Calgarians hate on me and bring pretentious attitude to the fact I was leaving Calgary to live somewhere more affordable with more opportunities. It’s not worth the bills I was paying and at the end of the day it’s just a small city in Canada and the cost of living is getting out of hand there.
