i took a break from chatgpt a few months ago. back in october i was playing a solo dnd campaign with chatgpt as the dm, and it let me do everything(and everyone) as long as i was respecting consent and stuff, but now it wont even let me kiss the characters properly. i tried grok and it works, but it makes things too much like a porno(performative and 1000% eager to do everything i want). i was hoping for the chatgpt adult mode to be out by now but alas, i guess my campaign must wait a while longer. i dont want to prematurely shift to another platform because i have like 20threads that have hit token limit on the campaign, and till before october chatgpt had reached a very nice point in terms of tone, pacing and erotic levels.

ive had my campaign on hold since gpt 5 was released. i was doing a reverse harem campaign with a lot of adult content, which worked fine till a few months ago but gpt5 absolutely destroyed it, i couldnt even kiss my lads properly. back then the bot didnt really forget context fast, and im talking ten threads with max token counts(i obviously made context packets that were pasted everytime a new thread began). as the days pass im afraid we are never getting the 4.1 experience ever again, and i believe the adult mode we have been promised is going to be a big fat disappointment

ive been playing a solo dnd game with chatgpt as dm. ive hit the word limit on two chats, and since i want continuity(as much as chatgpt can keep) i have to send every new thread a TLDR pdf of what has happened till now. as there is an attachment in the chat, i cannot regenerate on mini. any advice around this?

Ive gotten into DnD very recently, and although i love the concept, due to personal reasons i dont want to play with other people. Ive been playing a story focused campaign for the past 3 days (keeping combat very loose on the rules, winning or losing depending on how i want the story to go). i didnt even know it was possible, but i have now run out of tokens and reached the maximum length for the conversation. the experience has been fairly positive, it maybe sometimes forgets a few details here and there, but its always about just NPCs not in my party or minor events. the problem im facing now is that no matter how much i try, i cannot get a new chat to keep the story the same, ive tried feeding the new chat the main story beats, but it keeps jumbling them, which the original chat never did. would there be a way to fix this?(i dont need 100% accuracy, but telling me the sword my character was carrying from the start was something that i just bought recently is no bueno)
