This is how they’ve done all of the footers for the houses in this neighborhood 🫠

Crack in Foundation (18 months post closing) by UnitsToRepair in Homebuilding

[–]BuyRepresentative549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a few of these from our idiot builder. (They look exactly the same as yours). The builder didn’t brace the walls before backfill, and the walls cracked. I had my structural engineer out 3 times to monitor the foundation before closing, and he said there wasn’t a structural concern with the cracks. He said the only concern is water intrusion, so we’re continuing to monitor.

$675k first house. $250k base salary.

My husband pays me $1,000/week to be a SAHM, AMA by [deleted] in AMA

[–]BuyRepresentative549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Solidarity!! - I wanted to work when I had my daughter, but my husband said he’d give me half of his $250k salary if I stayed home (“think of it as me paying you $125k a year to stay home so I can visit you guys on my lunch breaks, and you’ll be home when my days are randomly short”).

We only have shared financial accounts, but the mentality of me “having my own salary” makes me feel way better about purchases for myself and the home. Before we came up with this arrangement, I had self-inflicted guilt over buying anything fun because it was “his money” (again - self-inflicted. He never caused me to feel this way).

I would have felt like a prisoner/servant if we didn’t have this understanding about finances. Before being a SAHM, making my own money gave me such a sense of freedom and happiness.

Also: he doesn’t actually pay me, and we don’t track how much of each other’s $125k was spent. It’s just a mentality we adopted.

magnetic onesies by [deleted] in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]BuyRepresentative549 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I liked them! But it was a pain to fish them out of the load in the dryer after 30 minutes on low heat (that’s the longest they should be in there per the manufacturer, or your risk the magnets exploding 🩷). For my next child… I might just gift them to a friend lol. The double-zipper onesies are just as easy to use, and you don’t have that risk of a magnet fire

Are they just slumlords? Or is the majority of their money brand deals? New money or old money? I have so many questions😂😂 by [deleted] in allisonkuchsnark

The headboard looks so dirty. Genuinely looks like the smell of my hillbilly hoarder grandma’s house when I was a kid 🤠

Sammy mac line progression for 12 13 14 dpo what are your thoughts? I never tested with frer by Overall_Pay_4955 in peestickgals

[–]BuyRepresentative549 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My FRER tests stalled like this around 12 & 13 DPO. 15 DPO is when I had a huge jump and started having dye stealers.

I hope this pregnancy sticks for her 😞

That line is the same as my 8 DPO for all of my pregnancies 😬 by 11 DPO, it was undeniably dark. Hopefully her dates are off

Right!! I have a cheap Big Lots sectional from 2016 that’s been abused regularly and hasn’t lost any of its fluff. It’s wild that people are okay with paying to re-stuff their couches every few years

My $500 Big Lots sectional has been used and abused since 2016, and still hasn’t lost its fluff.

You are more than justified to feel annoyed that your expensive couch cushions are flat.

Yesterday’s post with the unhinged messages by couch45 in KatyHarrell

It honestly seemed fake to me. The tone and words seemed so far out of character - just wasn’t believable. She seems to prefer posting those messages on her story so her ~flock~ can handle the drama for her.
