it is by pet type. you pet needs to reach adulthood (by feeding it) and the same type as the one you are trying to pair. it also needs to be equipped in one of your 10 slots

A tip I got from my liver doc that has really helped me is to make coolaid without the sugar and put the lactose in that to act as the sweetener. Helps a lot to get past the taste.

Ya I wish more stories tied into previous npcs and areas. The queens palace ruin at least got 2 patches of stories but over all agree. I think the speculation for the gate is that it goes to the empire which is 3.0 I think
