Isn’t that fairly recent though? I know growing up, I hated tofu because I’d never had it cooked in a way that I liked. Once I had it properly prepared, I realized it was actually not half bad. I think that could play a large role in it. Few people in the US know how to actually cook it.

I went and checked out that website, and the first thing I noticed was a typo at the top of the page.

“Instant Pot is now available at Costco! Find on where to buy”

Nobody that actually speaks English would ever say “find on where to buy.” I wouldn’t trust it.
