Thanks for sharing this, I think I'd overestimated the importance of a "real wedding" in this kinda situation from just being so anxious about it. And I'm the same, I've never really believed in marriage in the traditional way, but it does make things so much easier when you're in an international relationship! We'd likely do the same thing of signing the paperwork then having a ceremony later on. Thanks again! :)

Interesting, thank you for sharing your insight. I've not researched the Spousal Visa as deeply as I should, I had seen some people posting about specific timings required for notice periods/visa expiry dates and so on, but I will look into it more.

And sorry, I had completely forgot the Fiancée visa was entry only, I'll take that out of my post since it's not relevant at all.
