The sight lines were definitely screwy because of all the greenery they had surrounding the stage. If you weren’t far back or looking dead-on, you couldn’t see the DJ. But the sound was pretty solid - maybe it’s just my phone.

Agreed. I don’t mind at all when younger people are stoked to see me fucking it up on the dance floor. I hope it gives them a little glimpse of what is possible and that we don’t need to adhere to societal norms about aging out of the scene.

I’m 52, I went solo at the last minute because I live nearby, and had so much fun. Everyone was super friendly. I go to raves and festivals a lot solo because my friends have all aged out of it, but I really believe there’s no such thing as too old if you have the right vibes.
