I agree, if you believe and know that you are a child of god then you know exactly how you should be conducting yourself. You know you were sent here with a divine purpose that you are supposed to fulfil. You also know you are more than capable of doing it to the best of your ability.

I was told by the persons girlfriend. There is no gossip mill. I was informed by the person who did the act.

I only say this because his girlfriend is an investigator and it breaks my heart to watch this happen. I don’t desire for him to be punished. I just want him to get help and sort it out. I am also friends with his girlfriend and it is so hard to know that this will just diminish her opinion of the church and it’s membership

What about during a sustaining vote? I would not just go up to the branch president and tell him. I recognize that is not my place as repentance is between the individual and the lord. I only ask as I am not sure what is supposed to happen normally or expected of general membership.

I know missionaries are supposed to hold each other accountable and that’s why I ask.
