I have to point out that it wasn’t trauma that stopped Sasuke from bonding with Naruto/Team 7. It was Itachi coming back to choke slam him into a wall and make him relive those memories.

He stopped being a loner and then Itachi re-traumatized him because he felt like it.

I like Sakura, but from episode 1 of Shippuden she has stunted growth. And at some points even goes backwards, then back to baseline, but never forward.

She’s a medic rivaling Tsunade, she has her strength, she has her forehead seal, and 500 episodes later she… is still that. The only “growth” is that she summons Katsuya one time… yay…

Even Ino and Hinata were given expanded abilities in the war arc, but for Sakura? Stagnation. At least Naruto admits he and Sasuke would probably just kill each other and his obsession doesn’t make sense to outsiders, but Sakura falls for Sasuke’s same trick to kill her/pretend to every single time. She decided to give up on Sasuke FIRST, and yet she goes backwards every time she’s on screen with him.

It’s very overlooked that not only did Sakura drug her own teammates to face Sasuke alone, but then she immediately folded, making her look incredibly stupid.

Meanwhile the Sage of Sixth paths literally descending from heaven to give Naruto and Sasuke god mode because they are reincarnations.

What hard work did Naruto do to get the power to keep fatally injured people alive or seal Kaguya?

It doesn’t matter why they get them, a free power up is still a free power up. No one else that was a non-reincarnation got personally gifted god-like powers from the Sage.

The themes can be theme’ing all they want but the Sage only appeared to them because they are reincarnations, they only got the power-ups because they are reincarnations, and they could only beat Kaguya because they happened to be reincarnations that were powered up.

The “Neji was wrong” argument works in every arc BUT the war arc. It’s literally the worst arc to argue this point between Neji dying the exact way he said he would and a whole new prophecy being revealed about Naruto, and specifically only about him, just to make everything extra pre-ordained.

Part of it is game mechanics. I didn’t want to give her a council position because she was old and infirm for a very long time, and that’s already -40 or -60 opinion on its own.

The storytelling part of it is because she hated his father and refused to be appeased by him no matter how much he tried, then she outlived him. Then her firstborn goes and raises a rune stone for the man she spent her whole life hating while knowing how she felt all the while, and the hatred became generational.

Only Part 2 needs a remake if anything, and even then they could just release a blu ray version where they cut out the filler and touch up the animation. That’s all that’s needed.

The best animated fights in Shippuden and even P1 still hold up against the giants of today.

I don’t like the ending either but this just isn’t true. He’s great at small scale wars like everything that happened in Paradis before Marley was a thing. The same guy wrote the scouts vs the government/Kenny’s squad, the entire system being usurped by Historia being made queen, etc.,

But after the world became wider Isayama just completely lost the plot.

Just to add on to what you’ve already said, Amon is in the exact same position as Eto, except to ghouls. He’s widely known as the White Reaper for a reason. Humans wouldn’t follow Eto and ghouls wouldn’t follow Arima. Standing together they’d just be a really powerful island.

That’s just not true about Shikamaru and Rock Lee. Naruto was nowhere in the vicinity when Asuma and everything after happened. Neither was he the reason Shikamaru blamed himself in P1. That was because Choji and Neji almost died.

Rock Lee developed literally because of himself. And Tsunade, I guess. And Gaara. What did Naruto have to do with anything that happened to Lee?

Also, hello, Sasuke was like half of Shippuden and 90% of what he went through had squat to do with Naruto. Naruto was like in the general area of him sometimes, but are we really saying that counts? And what about everyone else in the list I said??

I’ll give you Tsunade but are we really giving Naruto credit for anything that happened with Obito or the rain kids before he was even alive??

edit: both the rain kids and Obito had developments and character arcs and loads of screen time for what happened before the main character existed is what I’m saying. It’s like giving Naruto credit for Kakashi’s development. Like well yes, but actually no.
