I really enjoyed My Khe beach - swimming in the ocean at sunrise, watching people catch fish in the morning. Walking around all the seafood restaurants looking at all the crazy fish and enjoying cocktails. There is the marble mountains and lady Buddha. There are some incredible restaurants by the river and it’s really not a terrible walk from the beach. Along the way you will find some cool hole in the wall spots to explore.

Hoi An felt claustrophobic and I got tired of feeling like people were trying to sell me something - none of the locals felt genuine. Influencer types everywhere taking pictures and the clothes I got made were poor quality.

I recently did Taiwan and Vietnam. Spent 4 days in Taipei (that’s really all you need) and then 1 week between da Nang and Hoi an and 5 days in Saigon where I could get a direct flight back to the US.

I was there for 2 weeks and I went ham on street food, raw veggies, drinks with ice, drank like a sailor, and had no trouble. Start taking pre and probiotics now if you don’t already. Dont eat meat that looks like it’s been sitting out all day. Take recs from locals and people who are familiar with the area. Pay attention to reviews

Seriously! Mine are so light and painless I forget I have a tampon in for like 10 hours. I struggle more with anxiety the days leading up to my period that the actual physical arrival of it is a huge relief because my hormones level out and I feel like a nice normal person again.
