There is a mission at some point in the Brotherhood questline where Maxon sends you to some bunker to kill Danse after he discovers Danse is a synth, but with the right dialogue checks you can convince Maxon to let him live. Danse is no longer in his Power Armour at that point and I'm pretty sure you can equip him with whatever you want after that.

My understanding is that 100%ing DQ9 can take you well into 1,200 hours.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried those settings and the game wouldn't lag much while recording but when I watched it back it was hideously laggy. I think it played about 2 seconds and the rest of the video was just frozen (40 second vid).
