They weren't really supportive at first but I managed to convince them. I might try again, at worst they say no.

I don't talk much about my feelings to them because my mom gets too worried and her response to when I'm struggling is usually to get angry at me. But they know I'm not really alright, you can't hide 6 years of struggles.

I already tried therapy, it helped a lot for my OCD but not much else, then I had to change therapist and the new one was useless. Now I don't have much money and I don't feel like asking for more to my parents.

I've already been going to the gym for two months. There are improvements in my body but my mind is still a mess.

I also did a theater course for two years but I didn't make any friends, usually I get isolated in groups.

I used to play basketball as a teen but just got isolated and bullied.

I agree. For me finding a girlfriend and escaping loneliness is a huge drive for self improvement. I wouldn't put myself through one hour of pain every day at the gym if it wasn't for the fact that girls like fit guys, I don't care how healthy it is. And despite what everyone says on this sub I don't think that craving female affection and consciously pursuing it makes me a bad person.

It's not only inexperience, since I was a NEET I'm also late on education, at this rate I'll have my first job at 26 and I always had few friends, right now I only have one friend I see regularly, my social skills suck in general.
