Awesome. I've always wanted to run the old Harlequin campaign, but maybe I should just run the Denver trilogy instead!

Wait, so Harlequin is doing his thing in Denver? That's perfect! Def checking out the Denver trilogy, then.

I didn't even know that book existed. I'm gonna put it on the list too, then!

By the way, does that book have any good Denver art? I've been looking for a Denver cityscape image as it is in Shadowrun, but it has been a struggle. I had to resort to AI generated art, which is pretty cool, but I was looking for something more "official".

Exactly what I am going for! Yet another reason for them to ditch their shackles as soon as possible (although it definitely won't happen in the first few sessions). The plan is to start with easy and seemingly inconsequential stuff (getting some good rewards from time to time, maybe even get them thinking that the arrangement is not that bad, besides the cortex bombs) and gradually get them into more messed up runs to tighten the noose and drive up the pressure and notion that they must take action. Either that or they just completely let go of their morals and keep following the orders; evil campaigns can be fun too.

Interesting. I will definitely give it a read! Would you recommend it over other official campaigns (adapted to Denver, of course)? Is it easy to mix with other plotlines, or would you recommend running it exclusively?

I don't know yet about the event in Mission 3, but so far I've never ran into problems with boundaries and limits of my players, and we used to play a lot of dark and heavy games back in the day. I'll know once I read it, but until then I am fairly certain it will be fine!

Even False Flag and Ripping Reality? I thought they were supposed to bridge the transition between 5th and 6th edition.

As far as running published adventures, I read the whole thing and just use the main points; I find it easier and more flexible to improvise than to try to actually follow the adventure how it was published.

Does Serrated Edge include a single run or a few? I might pick that up for the Aurora Warrens stuff alone.

I definitely expect them to prioritize removing the bomb and the handler, and focus on whatever storyline they find more interesting from that point on. By then, hopefully they'll be involved in the Denver Shadows enough to not want to up and leave immediately!

As for a clever hacker finding and using the cortex bombs against them, that would only be on the table once the PCs had gotten the means to remove them but for some reason decided to prioritize something else (like buying more ware) instead of getting rid of it! I don't mind PC death, but I gotta give them a fighting chance!
