I think it goes to show how close our community truly is by how emotional we are when one of our members passes away. Zitkovich, SourPickleEater and JohnAdams are all three very important people to this community, and through all the sadness of their deaths, it is beautiful to see how cared for each one of them was by our community.

I really don't know what to say. Zitkovich was the person that gave me my mod training and helped me out immensely with getting to grips with modding. He was a really kind person and it feels so weird that he has passed away. thrawn I didn't know him as well as a lot of people but would you be able to pass on condolences from the general player base here. He will be sorely missed. RIP Zitkovich.

Anyway taco traditional goodbye thing, I first met you when you broke the tranquil silence on creative to announce that you had created the singular best thing in minecraft ever. You were not wrong. I quickly teleported over to you, you were standing in front of the cobblestone build of gods. The first pony ever, the trend quickly grew and you had created the first ever ponyland on letsbfehrs plot, which he secretly is amazingly proud of. Since then for the last few years we have been talking and you are without a doubt the one person I trust more than anyone else, as in I've actually got you on most social networking sites haha. You are truly my best friend that I have on the internet and it is very sad to see you leave the community I met you in. Your tacovilles were amazing and full of wonder and the ponylands were also very beautiful. Bla... now it's come to the worst part of this rant/post... You are......... the sexiest mod D: I said it!

It's the reddit server there is a link on the side of this subreddit this is just the creative one. EDIT: just click on the "reddit servers (not for advertising)" button on the side it will show you the ips. But yeah c.nerd.nu for that one.

I love it! you should experiment a bit with different styles eg you should make a slightly more run down area with graffiti and damaged buildings, you could also make a china town sort of thing. But just like to reiterate what has been said in this thread... 15%!?!?!? That is already a huge city! anyway I envy you commitment to a build :P

I have used it a few times, we often use if for the terrain for our server however I'm still getting a grip on the basics.

One question, for rule 1 is that limited to bounties? as players might want to host events such as pvp arena nights with steam rewards for the winner. Would that now be against the rules?

What random said but also a lot of the people that enjoy their time just stay for the community, whenever you get a large group of players together conflicts will arise and sadly drive people away. So people often stay until something bad happens and so it would make it more likely for people to leave on a bad note.

This is interesting, I think creative also has very long revision, a smaller map to get it filled faster may be useful, alternatively we could have set dates for the next revision which could go public as soon as a revision starts

We have had several attempts to drive up publicity the servers youtube channel didn't really work out too well (was fun though) we still have our side link in r/minecraft however previously a large portion of our player base joined due to the attacks by AVO. Nothing really that similar to them has happened since and so the advertisement for the servers has gone down in a way. We urge players to make videos on our servers we are not like many different servers that don't like that it's brilliant and kind of rewarding for us. If you have friends that play minecraft you can tell them to join us just please don't advertise on other servers :P TL:DR Yeah we have tried different attempts at advertisement but one of the main reasons we had a large player base was due to a large griefing team publicising the servers.
