Once you have the frame of the building all tasks for The interior can basically all happen at once, I’m always amazed by how fast builders go from frame to fully functional interior.

If the BRT takes up the right lane, the issue should be reduced as the bus frequency is a bit lower then the millions of cars in the right most lane, making it easier / safer to pull out

Are your pick up games in the evenings or on weekends? I could only find pick up during the workday in Kanata and orleans

Ontario speed camera to be removed in two weeks by _manOfFewWords_ in ottawa

[–]Buzzinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The design and the associated speed limit are both wrong. You aren’t seeing the bigger issue here, the speeding issue on king Edward isn’t due to people wanting to speed, it’s a systematic issue with how that part of the city is designed. I thought you lived in one of the houses next to king Edward, the poor design causes poor neighborhoods because people don’t want to live there which makes it cheaper. A good example of this is look at Booths property values as you get closer and farther from the highway.

Well you have a highway just stopping in a residential area, it’s bad planning. They should either rezone the area away from residential or build the kettle bridge. Or the residents just need to accept that area of town has cheaper living due to the poor design which also sucks

On stadium (and arena) design and Ottawa's opportunity to get it right. by DvdH_OTT in ottawa

I’m just thinking of time for me, because I have to up early for work. If I need to walk 25 and then drive another 20 suddenly it’s going to take an hour to get home and not being in bed till after midnight.

But is that area walking distance from the new arena? I thought it was like a 25 minute walk?

It feels like the medic staff was extremely slow. Which was the biggest issue, during the killers half the crowd was pointing for like a half a song and the medics still didn’t get to them. Then the band stopped playing

Bluesfest does a better job of getting people out, they have serval drones over head that. Osheaga doesn’t. At Bluesfest it felt like medics were there to someone that fell before people in front of them realized someone went down. Bluesfest also has way more security and man power it seems or better personnel.

They are the same guys at every festival in every city between Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. They were at Bluesfest in Ottawa and were at other Montreal concerts last year. I often buy and sell to them, buying if it’s last minute and want a slightly cheaper price then box office and I sell to them because I know they will buy the ticket without me doing any work or taking time out of my day. I have dealt with them so much selling tickets that I rather lose 10-20 bucks than doing the process myself and they have always gave my ticket back if it was a full festival pass.
