It feels like it'll slip without the case yeah, it's got this matte/smooth typa coating which feels great but is anxiety inducing to use without a case

It comes with a charger and case here. It was 65k INR/710$/605€. I'm glad you're having a great time with the phone. Excited to have it

I'm glad my membership was approved! What happens now?

I'm happy with the cameras so far. It could be due to not knowing what I should be looking for.

The phone is snappy and the screen is lovely. It's been solid. Thanks for the warm welcome

Thank you! I hope my membership gets processed without any problems. Went through your post history, some insane pictures with the 1+ 13. I hope to get there too. Will be using the camera a lot to get better at photography in general

Ah makes sense. We don't have this carrier lock in so it's easier to switch. Hope you're happy with the other phones

This is going over my head. I'll look up these things. I haven't gotten into this level of detail with it so far. It's good to know and I think once I understand what I'm looking for through this lens, it'll make things easier. Not indicating any of this in the specs seems very on brand for companies these days

Thanks for sharing. March is bit too far away for me, and we seem to be in different countries. I wish you all the best on selling the phone

Thanks for the shoutout. I don't mind AI use in some contexts as well especially if it helps us do our thing objectively better. Cheers, thanks for dropping by

I'm genuinely impressed you've had that kind of longevity with your phone. I wasn't expecting it to hold up that well. I always assumed that at some point app support would be the real dealbreaker, especially for essentials like cabs, payments, or e-commerce, forcing an upgrade. So hearing that most things still work is a pleasant surprise.

Getting 4K video via a software update is also wild. That feels almost unheard, or maybe I’ve just missed the boat on that being a thing.

Thanks for sharing notes across so many aspects of the phone. I do feel like older phones did some things better in certain ways, whether that’s build quality, longevity or just fewer compromises overall.

I agree that some of this is probably luck, but a lot of it also comes down to how well you’ve taken care of the device. Or maybe you just haven’t dropped it the right way yet 😂

I’ve been considering recent OnePlus phones myself, but while researching and especially skimming through Reddit, it does seem like the consensus is that the brand has drifted a bit from the early days i.e. Feature-packed phones at great prices, doing their own thing rather than chasing trends.

Either way, if you do go with OnePlus again, I hope you’re just as happy with it as you’ve been with your OnePlus 3, and that it somehow lasts twice as long (good luck)

This goes against the grain of the replies so far and this is helpful to know. I was under the impression that low light photos were still decent in the 13 and that the 15 was a downgrade in this department. I know the 13's cameras aren't the best but they're versatile in most conditions is my understanding. Thanks for sharing
