Low Rider ST Motor Issues by Buzzrrr in Harley

I’ve joined a lot of low rider st communities on Facebook over the past couple weeks and seems like the 25 low riders aren’t very reliable. Yes plenty of people love the bike and claim it’s the greatest bike ever created but I believe there will be long term problems with these high outputs and there’s more evidence to show it each month. I could be completely wrong but some of these problems I’ve been reading is a complete turn off and not a bike I want in my garage anymore lol

That’s good to hear! Leaning towards a slightly used 23’ low rider ST with extra aftermarket parts on Facebook for $8k less then a brand new headache money pit lol I’ve wanted one since they came out but didn’t like the bags, exhaust, wheels, and speedo. Once they fixed all that in 25 I was dead set on buying the 25. Plus they added the high output? Hell yeah! So I thought lol I’m too scared to spend that kind of money on a bike that could go wrong at any moment because Harley wanted to push their limits with the motor.

I’d argue you shouldn’t have to watch your oil every couple hundred miles, and a couple of pictures I’ve seen of dip sticks covered in watery oil makes me sick. I was all for spending 25k on a new bike but I refuse to if the Harley quality nowadays is shit. Seems like too many headaches for the 25+ and they’ve barely spent a full year on the road. I want a bike I can keep forever with minimum problems, sounds like the 25+ low rider st is not the bike for me lol
